Subject: RE: FINAL FIRE ALARM INSPECTION REPORT
Larry,
Thanks for the report.
I want you to know that I and Hutton Construction truly appreciate all
that yourself, David Woley and Linder has done on this project. It is
a pleasure to work with professional, honest and caring people in the
completion of our projects. You have met each challenge with a mature
attitude that seems hard to find in the subcontractor community these
days. As we move forward from this project your excellent performance
will not be forgotten and you can be sure that we will continue to
look for ways to continue our relationship with Linder and
Associates. Please pass on my thanks to David and the rest of your
team and let me know if there is anything that you need.
Thanks Again,

Dear Randy:
I am writing today to thank you and
your company for the cooperation and assistance in the construction of
the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It is truly a beautiful
complex that will serve the Catholic Church in southwest Kansas for
many years to come.
Also, please convey my thanks
especially to Russ Wedel, the jobsite foreman on this project.
Russ was a very enjoyable person to work with and was helpful in
explaining what was going on from the electrical side of the project.
He certainly made me understand the project better and I appreciate
all he did to make this job successful.
Perhaps, sometime in the future we will
have the opportunity to work together again. Thanks again, and
if you are out in the area, feel free to stop in for a visit.

Unified School District 267
November 6, 2000
To Whom it May Concern:
In the past few months, I have had the opportunity to observe Linder
And Associates, Inc., as the electrical sub-contractor on a new high
school Renwick USD 267 is building. As the superintendent of the
district, I am responsible for all the construction within the
district.
During my brief association with Linder, they were asked to
expedite the installation of the electrical service and six light
poles for our newly built football stadium at Andale. Unlike
other sub-contractors that I have worked with, Linder
was willing to go the "extra mile" and provide the materials,
personnel, and leadership to get the job done according to our needs.
They understood the political problem we were under and made every
effort to help us complete the football stadium before the first home
game of the 2000 football season.
I would highly recommend Linder And Associates to
anyone, based on the high level of quality and service we at Renwick
School District have experienced.
I would certainly make myself available to anyone interested in
hiring Linder And Associates.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dan Peters

Dear Mr. Sobba:
This letter is to inform you that we feel Linder and Associates was an
outstanding electrical contractor on the Dodge City High School
project. This was a large, very complex project with a total
electrical division cost of approximately $2.8 million dollars.
Because this was a straight CM project, the school district as owner
had a much closer relationship to all the contractors and it was
significant that Linder and Associates had the ability to be flexible
in working with the other trades which contributed to the success of
the project. Linder's attention to detail and their ability to
communicate quickly and effectively was appreciated. As in any
project of this size there were numerous changes due to requests by
the owner and field conditions that Linder addressed in a professional
manner. Linder also provided clear and effective direction and
supervision to subcontractors performing specialty work under their
contract.
Overall, the electrical division of the work on the high school
project was probably the least contentious of all the trades we were
dealing with. One element that assisted in this was the
availability of the management personnel of Linder to respond to
questions and requests.
As a final note, I want to express appreciation to Linder and
Associates for bailing the district and the contractor out of a tight
spot on our Comanche School project. We were two days before the
scheduled school opening of the Comanche site when it was determined
that sufficient smoke detectors, strobes and alarms were not
available. It was only after we asked Linder and Associates for
assistance that they made these parts available from one of their
projects in Wichita allowing the school to open on schedule.
This is the kind of cooperation that goes above and beyond the norm.
It is without hesitation that I recommend Linder and Associates as
electrical contractor for any similar project.
Sincerely,
Morris L. Reeves

Mr. Sobba:
On behalf of Andale High School and the Renwick
School District, I want to express my appreciation to you and your
company for the outstanding service we received this fall in putting
up our football lights. It was apparent that you spent many long
hours and much effort in a very short amount of time to make it
possible for us to host a home game.
I was impressed with the professionalism and
leadership of your jobsite foreman, Dave Woley. You should be
very proud of the way he and the other workers represented Linder and
Associates. I look forward to working with your company as we build a
new high school. I would highly recommend your company to anyone who
is looking for a good electrical company.

RE: Policy 1X8 07 66 Jobsite Survey: Derby Aquatic
Park, Mar 11, 2004
Dear Mr. Clark:
This is to confirm a jobsite safety survey conducted
at the above referenced site. You accompanied me throughout this entire
survey. We also met briefly with jobsite foreman, Chris Brewer.
Individually, I met with the general contractor, Walz Harman Huffman
Construction, Inc, construction superintendent, Jack Bollinger.
The comprehensiveness of your jobsite inspections is
impressive indeed. It is through such thoroughness, I’m sure, that you
breezed through a recent OSHA jobsite inspection at North High School’s
jobsite without any citation! It was my privilege to walk through a
complex jobsite with a journeyman electrician whose specific interest was
employee safety. I found it quite educational, especially on some of the
finer points of the construction industry standard for temporary wiring.
Thanks, again!
Summary:
Mr. Clark, I appreciate you and your firm’s efforts to
minimize your exposures to work place injuries. Even though all findings
weren’t perfect on this job, your concern and passion for worker safety was
clearly evidenced. As all items needing attention fall into a “minor”
heading, no formal recommendations are submitted. I still see a very high
standard on workplace safety at Linder & Associates and it is greatly
appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jim Harms, CSP

RE: 1X8 0766 Recent Jobsite Safety Surveys
Dear Mr. Clark:
Thank you for assisting me in directing me to two of your
jobsites. This letter will serve to confirm these visits. Dave
Woley assisted me at the new Andale High School project and Steve Tillery
escorted me through the York International addition. Both site visits
were conducted on August 23, 2001. The cooperation I received from
both was greatly appreciated.
I was impressed with both jobsites! The attention to
detail was evident at both. Evidence of periodic safety training was
easy to spot, from the condition of the equipment and tools, to the
organized material stockpiles. Your supervisors were even pointing out
other contractor's safety violations to me during the walk-arounds.
That showed me the safety consciousness or climate that exists on Linder &
Associates jobsites! It was refreshing to see. Keep up the good
work.
Sincerely,
Jim Harms, CSP
