Dirt work began on June 3, 2002, with anticipated completion of the building pad within five days.
Due to rain delays, foundation work did not start until June 21, 2002.
▪Of course, it had to start raining, after months of drought, and the establishment of a tight construction schedule.

The building steel arrived on July 1, 2002 and erection began immediately.  By July 5th, approximately 1/3 of the building steel was standing.

Charles Schaefer, President of United Warehouse, informed Roy Arnett, "As fast as the steel is going up, you should get more people on the job to cool the steel down before it melts."
